The Little Play Lounge is a beautifully designed, safe and welcoming play café created especially for little ones aged 0 to 3.5 years. Our space is filled with thoughtfully selected indoor play equipment made from eco-friendly, sustainably sourced wood, offering a natural, calming environment where children can explore, learn, and play freely.
Located in the heart of West Berkshire, The Little Play Lounge is a place where parents can relax and connect while their children enjoy purposeful, imaginative play in a clean, secure, and inspiring setting.

Flooded with natural sunlight and surrounded by lush greenery from our gardens, our baby zone has been carefully curated to create a soothing yet stimulating environment for early development. It features premium soft mats for comfort and safety, a range of sensory toys to encourage exploration, and a beautiful black and white visual zone designed to support early cognitive and visual development. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to nurture curiosity, support growing minds, and create magical first play experiences for both babies and their families.

Our Story
In 2021, my lockdown baby turned one. After a year of parenting behind closed doors, with our lounge at home being the only “play area,” I was both excited and nervous to take him somewhere new. I signed up for a few play sessions at local village halls, but wearing masks made it difficult to connect with other mums.
Rarley, was overstimulated and likely anxious, so we left in tears on many occasions. It was overwhelming and emotionally draining, to say the least. I longed for somewhere calm, safe with good coffee and cake!
And so, The Little Play Lounge was born in October 2021 - a space where mums could meet, make friends, and enjoy a calm, welcoming environment. Featuring eco-friendly toys in aesthetically pleasing space with no bright red plastic in sight!
If I can help at least one mum on maternity leave feel just a little bit less exhausted and not totally alone, i'll be happy! I'm always around if anyone wants to chat, I'm not a doctor with professional knowledge, but I am a mum and I understand.
