Our Story;
In February 2023, I started researching the "next" seat for my nearly 3 year old. At the time, he was forward facing in a well known spin seat. Naively, I planned on putting him in a high backed booster so my 10 month old could go in his spin seat. A friend shared a heartbreaking story of a mum losing her two youngest children in a crash, all because they were forward facing. After cleaning up my tears, I began researching and turned my son around, surprisingly, my strong minded toddler accepted as I told him that his job was to watch out for tractors and make sure everyone was driving safely.
My research took me to crash test videos, more heart breaking stories and of course the Swedish Plus Test where I discovered Axkid. I decided it was time we could do more, help educate the parents attending our sessions and become advocates for car seat safety. As mums, we spend 9 months growing our precious babies and doing our best to nurture them earthside, this shouldn't be forgotten when we get in a car!
How it works;
We have partnered with Axkid, we have a range of demo seats.
We are more than happy to show you the models, explain each seat including weight / height limits and measure your child.

After discussing your requirements and working out your child's percentile, we will try out some seats in your car, let your little one see how comfy there are and go from there.
*Please note, we charge a non refundable £20 for each appointment. If you buy a seat from us, we deduct £20 from the seat cost.

Our free car seat event is the perfect opportunity to get your car seat check by us! We will be joined by an Axkid representative who will be able to answer all your car seat questions. Our Axkid demo seats will be on display for you to look at and try out in your cars. We'll be offering a special 20% discount on any car seats purchased on the day too!
